Best Buy, a leading global electronics retailer, opened its first store in the UK in Thurrock on April 30th 2010. Stores followed in Hedge End near Southampton on 28th May and Merry Hill in the West Midlands on 25 June. Best Buy stores in Aintree near Liverpool, Croydon and Derby will open later in the year, followed by Bristol due in Spring 2011 and Nottingham due in Spring/Summer 2011.
